Philadelphia Phillies win the world seris in five
Philadelphia Phillies win world series 4-1.
The Philadelphia Phillies defeated Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 in game five to win the world series. This was the first world championship in 28 years for the Phillis. Philadelphia dominated the final and won 4 games to Tampa's one game. The final game was decided in the top of the ninth inning in an exciting game where Tampa came close to scoring in the final minute.
