In Canada we are blessed with the wonderful cranberry. We have been a world leader in  its production for the last 100 years. B.C. , Quebec and New Brunswick have some of the best cranberry bogs in the world. This berry has it all: excellent source of fibre, vitamin C  and potent powerful Proanthocyanidins, a flavonoid found in some plants, with very strong anti-oxident and other medicinal qualities. They are now in season and it is a great time to buy in bulk and freeze them for the whole year. You can boil them and make a wonderful and healthy drink that is delicious. Enjoy this Canadian berry and Cheers to your Good Health! Remember prevention is the best medicine and do it now when you still can!
