Man of the Year Review By Alex Conde Rating: 3.5 out of 5 I’ve long been saying that if you give many of today’s comedy actors a decent script, they’ll turn out something that can make you laugh. Those laughs have been lacking from a number of recent comedies as good actors are hampered by weak scripts and remakes of weak concepts from the past, however, sometimes good actors are given a chance. |

Like the independent film scene, where everyone is going into it, so is the independent music scene. When you have a growing industry there will be a lot of talented musicians and or groups who will go unnoticed. |

Review of Gridiron Gang By Alex Conde Rated: 4.5 out of 5 stars. I have to confess, before this movie, I’d never thought The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) could honestly act. I put him in the same acting category as Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was good in action films as well as in dumb comedies, but I had thought he just couldn’t hack it in a decent drama. I’d like to state upfront that I was completely wrong. |
