Huge accident shuts down 427 southbound express lanes |

Toronto (4:22p.m.) A massive pile-up involving a large gravel truck and numerous other vehicles has shut down the 427 southbound express lanes this afternoon. The gravel truck rolled over and ended up on its side with the back portion on the guard rail. Several other vehicles collided as they attempted to escape the truck.
Avoid the 427 southbound lanes as they are closed and the vicinity has becom a giant parking lot. Police are investigating. Emergency crews and media are on the scene. |
