Top Ten Places to Feel Famous

1. Sassafraz. Powerhouses, stars, starlets - you can't help but soak up the celebrity ambience.

2. 4 Nuts Parties. If you're lucky enough to snag an invite to the parties that are thrown by this eclectic group of party-givers, you'll be swilling champagne amongst the pretty and the powerful.

3. Holt Renfrew (Yorkville). All the luxe lines you crave, from Chanel to the most obscure European couturier. Makes you want to seek out a private, backdoor entrance so the paparazzi won't see you coming. Or going.

4. Brant House restaurant.  Feel important if you're lucky enough to bypass the communal restaurant seating and snag a private booth.

5. Toronto Fashion Week. From Sean Desman to Phillip Bloch - you never know who'll be in the front row at all the must-see shows this season.

6. Toronto Film Festival. Parties and premieres. And, if you can get a break between sipping Chandon and noshing on crudités, perhaps you can catch a flick.

7. The Drake Hotel bar & lounge. On any given night, swoon over the local celebrity imports.

8. MMVA Afterparty @ the Courthouse. They even roll out the red carpet and yes - you are welcome to walk it (once all the real celebrities are inside…).

9. The Four Seasons 2nd floor washrooms. Generous mirror space; all you need is an entourage to fuss over you as you admire yourself in the three-way mirror

10. Any afterparty you're lucky enough to get an invite to. Even if it's not a major event by Toronto's standards, go in style and revel in the fact that you're even on the list.
