By Gillian Downes 1. Queen Street Way West. Many Canadian designers have set-up shop here; explore your own backyard.
2. Yorkville. For those who must-have the latest designer duds, the "Mink Mile" is it. 3. King Street East. Galleries, boutiques and coffee houses make up this condo/commercial haven.
4. Beaches. The oddest shops exist here…
5. Eaton Centre. For the ultra-trendy, this is where a lot of brand names - Canadian and otherwise - call home.
6. Kensington Market. A jumbled mix of, well, anything you'd ever think to buy.
7. Square One (Mississauga). Travel west, my friend. With extensive renovations under its belt, this souped-up mall is giving the Eaton Centre some serious competition.
8. Roncesvalles Village. Gritty, beautiful and trendy - all at the same time.
9. College Street. Start at Spadina and walk west; many stores offer one-of-a-kind originals.
10. Vaughan Mills. Forget it being the easiest place on earth to lose your car in the parking lot - this GTA mall is a ring road of deals.
