RCMP and Toronto Police should be sent to Afghanistan to help establish law and order PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 03 August 2006

Canada should send to Afghanistan Toronto Police officers and RCMP officers to help establish law and order. They will also protect us from the danger of Afghanistan becoming a "Narco State" that will poison the world's youth.

In the south the danger does not only come from the Taliban it also comes from the drug trade. Under the Taliban the opium fields were destroyed. The drug trade has again taken over and is "an alligator in the room". We cannot win the war on terror without controlling the alligator in the room which will devour all democratic reforms. Moreover, Canadian soldiers and NATO troops that made the ultimate sacrifice and that are now in harm's way everyday did not go to Aghanistan to have drug dealers and organized criminal groups increase drug production so that they can make more illegal profits.

If Afghanistan is to avoid becoming a narco state law and order must be established and the economy must be taken off drug life support. In this regard Canada should send increasing numbers of RCMP and Toronto Police to help as they are respected around the world and they can help train the Aghan police. Aghan cadets should also participate in an exchange program where they attend Police College in Canada and then return home to work in their local communities. In turn they will help our military win the war. This war must be won and the RCMP and Toronto Police can help!
