Crown Prosecutor Anthony Gerein seeks dangerous offender status for Whitmore PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 11 August 2006
Finally the system is working. Senior Crown prosecutor Anthony Gerein has refused to accept the RCMP's recommendation and is moving to bring a dangerous offender application against Whitmore who is accused yet again of sexual assualt agaisnt young kids. "Dito" for the Crown. The RCMP were forced into an illegal deal by duress. Whitmore's lawyer previously alleged that the Crown also consented but Gerein denied the crown executed the Agreement. For Whitmore's own protection and the protection of the public he should spend the rest of his life in jail. The administration of justice would be brought into disrepute  if Whitmore was allowed to play his dangerous games. Hopefully the Courts will declare Whitmore a dangerous offender and protect the public from a very dangerous offender who has been described as "100%" chance of re-offending again and again and again.
