Toronto School Board Threatens to close schools and eliminate jobs PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 31 August 2006
The Toronto School Board is again threatening to close community schools, eliminate kindergarten assistants and eliminate hundreds of jobs. The politicians always find the money to give themselves a raise but never seem to have enough money to pay for essential services. They often mismanage public money and waste limited resources. The innocent kids and their families pay for these mistakes. It is time to vote out many of our trustees and politicians. It is also time to adequately fund public schools. Good public schools help sustain our economy and maintain the quality of life and democratic freedoms we enjoy in Ontario. It is time to make education a first priority as it is a passport to a better life for the students and our communities.
