Did the lack of "sex" hurt Israel militarily in the recent war in Lebanon? Modern Israel is struggling with the issue of sex and many powerful men are learning the hard way just how much Israel has changed.
Israeli President Moshe Katsav is under investigation for sex charges. He has also become the subject of jokes: "Who does he think he is, Bill Clinton?", asked a local commedian. Russian President Putin joked today with Prime Minister Olmert that "he does not look like the guy who could go with 10 women, we are all envious" He is becoming a lame duck president. He allegedly had a sexual relationship with two female employees at the presidential residence. Eight other women have also come forward to complain. Mr. Katsav is a member of the right-wing Likud party. Mr. Katsav has fought back stating he is a victim of libel. He is accused of sexual assualt, sexual harassment and unlawful wiretaping. Seven other women have come forward to complain about him concerning sex-related offences. The Chief Justice and other supreme court justices have asked him to not preside over the swearing-in ceremony for the Justice Minister. He is not the only politician in trouble over sex allegations. The Justice Minister Haim Ramon was forced to resign last month to face trial over charges of indecent assault arising from an incident involving a female Israeli soldier in the waiting room to his office. A prominent billionaire's husband also faces similar problems. In the past Israeli men, who did most of the hard fighting and held power, could have sex on the job. Israel's security required sacrifice and who could deny national war heros a little "RNR." Afterall they could die at any time in battle. Even though it is politically incorrect, men like sex, it motivates them and they are willing to take more personal risks to get more sex. In the past, Israeli officers leading the troops into battle, who were victorious, would often be rewarded with honours, advancement and yes lots of sex! Look at all the great Israeli military leaders: they were all perceived to be attractive in a manly way and sexy. They had no problems getting women to consent. The modern politically correct crowd when they push political correctness too far, fail to understand the real world that is not logical or morally correct. For example, muslim extremists educate their holy warriors that if they die fighting for the "cause" they will go to heaven and screw lots of virgins! This is not politically correct but it works. Many male idiots become suicide bombers because they have been taught that if they commit suicide killing the enemy (which often includes innocent children) they will become martyrs and go to heaven to be with God and lots of women to have lots of sex with. This makes no sense to the west or Israelis. However, this form of radical Islam held Israel to a stalemate notwithstanding Hezbollah was outnumbered at least 10 to 1 and outgunned. We are in no way advocating or condoning rape or power abuse but only reminding our readers of the power of sex and how it can be used as a means to motivate troops to win wars. In a book published several years ago, a former Mossad agent describes how he witnessed a senior army officer, who was married, (and who later went into politics and became a very prominent and powerful statesman)getting felatio from a beautiful young female soldier in the gym. This conduct was condoned and women were in a subservient position. This is no longer the case in Israel. As Israeli women have assumed more powerful positions in the army, the state and the courts they have demanded equality between men and women. In this new era, the men have been forced to change their behaviour as power has shifted to Israeli women who increasingly wear the pants. Men should always get the woman's explicit consent. At the same time officers who serve their country with distinction and lead their troops to victory are more likely to get "yes, yes!" for an answer. With the recent setbacks in Lebanon, and the new mood of politically correct equality and good behavior, there are a lot of scared and timid male officers going "solo". |
