Ontario Judge charged with Impaired Driving |

The Honourable Marvin Morten The Honourable Marvin Morten, Brampton's "citizen of the year" was charged by the OPP with impaired driving on Thursday in Caledon.
Judge Morten has been involved in a nasty dispute with his brother judges in Brampton. Two senior judges complained to the Judciail Council that he was "ungovernable" . The complaint was settled when Judge Morten demanded a public hearing. Judge Bruce Duncan has complained that judge Morton had treated his fellow judges with "over-our-heads and behind the-our-back" attacks. This dispute and recent incident demonstrates that judges are only human just like the rest of us. |
