Property taxes to increase 3.8% in the City of Toronto |

The politicians did it again. Not only did they give themselves a pay raise above the inflation rate they are now increasing property taxes 3.8% or twice the inflation rate. The increase is also significantly higher than the ceiling promised by Mayor Miller in the recent municipal elections. Miller defended the increase as services will now improve this year.
